Halloween is near...

This is the easiest Halloween decoration to do for your home that packs the biggest impact. All you need is orange tissue paper, black construction paper, tape and the perfect window. (I lucked out) Cut your Jack O' Lantern face out of the black paper and tape to the window panes/frames. Yes, good ol' scotch tape. Put the orange tissue paper behind the face, I use 2 layers and you are done!! I usually move a lamp near the window so it gives it that Jack O' Lantern glow! Enjoy!

Friday night and a creative coma...

So I had the best of intentions to do some creating this evening. But the inspiration left as quickly as it appeared, so I decided to finally create this blog that I've said I would do for about the last 6 months. And as I'm still getting everything set up, I now wonder....what is it I have to say? There's fear and a sense of empowerment at the same time. I will put my real thoughts and ideas out there is cyberspace... aha! POWER! But really, it's just out there. It brings you so quickly back to earth when you realize that not only do you not have anything to say, but no one is listening anyway! So I'm going to take my single, old ass to bed because afterall, it is 9:30 on a Friday night. Maybe this blog will help people realize how much fun it really isn't to be me even though I am one of the funniest people I know! And if there's anyone out  there, I would love to hear your thoughts, rants and ideas! (Who knew my first blog post would be an entry from Debbie Downer's diary?!)
